Sliced Peaches with Raspberries, Blueberries, and Chocolate Chips

Ingredients:

2 large or 4 small ripe peaches, sliced
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of nutmeg
½ cup (2 ounces) fresh raspberries
½ cup (2 ounces) fresh blueberries
3 tablespoons (1 ounce) mini semisweet chocolate chips (real cocoa, not milk chocolate)

Directions:

Combine sliced peaches with cinnamon and nutmeg; transfer to four serving plates. Top peaches with raspberries, blueberries and chocolate chips.

Tips:

Keeping the well-washed skin on the peaches increases the grams of fiber in this simple, easy dish. A drizzle of an elegant liquer—maybe Chambord, a raspberry liqueur —would make this a simple and elegant dessert.

Substitutions:

Unpeeled sliced nectarines may replace the peaches, and blackberries may replace the raspberries. White peaches are especially succulent and sweet—look for them in the summer.
