Strawberries are loaded with vitamin C—I could drink this all day, and skip the vitamin C supplement. Each cup makes you 5.7 days younger.
Preparation Time: 8 minutes
Cooking Time: 0 minutes
Serving Size: 1 cup servings
3 cups (12 ounces) halved hulled fresh strawberries
1 cup fat free or light soymilk
1 cup (6 ounces) strawberry sorbet, such as Haagen-Dazs brand
Combine strawberries and milk in blender container. Cover and blend until fairly smooth. Add sorbet; cover and blend until smooth and thick.
Other berries and sorbets will work with this too: blueberries and lime sorbet; blackberries and chocolate sorbet; raspberries and lemon sorbet. Experiment and enjoy!
Thawed frozen unsweetened strawberries may replace the fresh strawberries; skim milk or 1% milk may replace the soymilk.
