Dr John La Puma

Ayurveda is from India, is over 2,000 years old and believes healthy nutrition is the balance of elements air, earth, fire, and water. 80% of India’s 1 billion population uses Ayurveda, and it can be a healthful approach.

But Ayurvedic remedies marketed in the U.S. and Ayurvedic in England are often contaminated with lead, arsenic, and mercury–20% of the products tested in a new Harvard study. Traditional Asian patent medicines are also commonly contaminated with lead, arsenic and mercury. Avoid them.
