Prescriptions and palates can go together: drug-food interactions are a common reason for consultation. But some people would rather not eat, and purchase the medicine they need. The best site for free medicines we know of www.needymeds.com.
For those patients who can pay something but not as much as asked for their prescriptions, www.destinationrx.com and www.pharmacychecker.com are both excellent programs.
Some pills can be split, and of course, other pills can be purchased out of the country. Always tell your physician what you are taking, especially if you try one of these approaches. Ask your pharmacist what can be split, and what can’t.??

Yes, depending on the type of arthritis: I cover both osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis in “Culinary Medicine”, online here: http://amzn.to/ChefMDpb
To be most effective, a program needs to be individualized to your symptoms and needs, so I would recommend reading the research and suggestions and then being systematic with your approach, and with your physician’s help.
